Eaton Corp Employee Creates Malicious Cyber Attack On His Own

 In a notable case, a fifty-five year old coder named Davis Lu has been found guilty of causing intentional damage to protected computers after he sabotaged his employer’s network. This incident occurred following his termination from Eaton Corp where Lu had developed a malicious piece of code referred to as a “kill switch.” The purpose of this code was to disrupt the company’s operations if he lost his job. Lu’s “kill switch,” which he named ‘IsDLEnabledinAD’ was a malicious code he designed to destroy critical systems and delete files associated with other employees. Upon his firing, this code was automatically activated, leading to significant disruptions within the company’s network.
